YES, i see the reports about the layout that turns everybody's page sideways. it's a missing closing tag in a layout that got passed around. paste your code in again and take out the last thing you added. if that doesn't work, message me. i'll look at it myself. i look at all of them myself. 2. autoplay: several of you have asked me to turn it off site-wide. i'm not going to. i know. i KNOW. but the song is the point — it's the one thing on your page that tells people what it feels like to be you. that said, please, i am begging, turn the volume down before you save. 3. someone asked me where the servers are. they're in a room. it's a normal room. there's a fan. 4. profile views are counted per page load, which means yes, if you refresh your own page 400 times, it goes up 400 times. we all know somebody. this isn't a callout. i'm just explaining the system. and the thank you part: i read this site. not all of it, i physically can't, but a lot more of it than anybody thinks. i read a kid write six hundred words about a parking lot. i read a whole town find a lost beagle. i read a band director tell everybody the door's open at lunch. i built a place to put a picture and a list of your favorite bands. you all turned it into somewhere people live. that wasn't me. that was you. be nice to each other. leave comments. fix your top 8 if you know you need to. - marv :)
