MARCHING BAND CADENCES ARE NOT REAL DRUMMING (a thesis)

ok so. hear me out. this is not a diss on Mr. Halverson who is genuinely the best. but marching cadences are like. 40% rudiments and 60% VISUAL. we spin sticks. we do a stick trick. is that MUSIC? or is that a MAGIC TRICK. i am not saying its easy. i am saying its a DIFFERENT SPORT. anyway that's my whole argument. i typed it at 11pm. probably nobody will read this.
