I Have Been On This Website For Two Weeks8/19/2026, 1:14 AM
Current mood: 😕 confused
Currently listening to: Fleetwood Mac - Landslide
I would like to report my findings. WEEK ONE I was here to check on Jennifer. I will be honest about that because she reads this and she already knows. WEEK TWO something else happened, which is that I read what these kids write. I read a 27 year old explain in six hundred words why he was sad in a parking lot, and it was better than anything I wrote at his age. I read a girl I've known since she was six organize a search party for an elderly woman's lost dog. I read a band director tell an entire school that the band room is open at lunch, and I understood immediately what he was really saying, and I had to put my coffee down. When I was 16 I wrote things like this in a spiral notebook and hid it under my mattress and nobody read a word of it, ever, and I threw it away when I moved out because I was embarrassed. I think about that notebook probably once a month. These kids just put it out there. Under their own names. Where everyone can see. I don't know if that's brave or if they simply haven't been hurt enough yet to know better. Maybe both. Jennifer: your page still starts playing music at full volume and I would still like that addressed. Everyone else: hello. I'm the mom. There's always food at our house.

You understood the band room post exactly. Most adults don't. Thank you for that. - Dale
